Booking your Snowjet Flight
How do I make a flight booking with Snowjet?
Online: You will normally make your flight booking on this website. www.snowjet.co.uk is a user-friendly site with a simple four-step booking process and a secure online payment system. Bookings can be made online up to one hour prior to the scheduled departure time of the flight.
Over the phone: Should you experience any problems during the booking process, please contact us by telephone and a member of the Snowjet team will be happy to help.
At the airport: Should you require a flight the same day, tickets can be purchased, subject to availability, from Snowjet representatives at our departure airports.
In all cases payments made to Snowjet by debit card will not incur any charges. Payment by credit card will incur a handling fee of 2.5%.
How do I get Snowjet's lowest ski flight fares?
Snowjet ski flights to Chambery start at £49 one way. Flights to Sion start at £79 one way. Prices quoted on our website are inclusive of all government taxes and airport charges. Our cheapest fares are generally available outside of peak periods such as school holidays and to people who book well in advance.
Snowjet do not have an online manage my booking facility. Changes must therefore be made over the phone, or by email. In both cases please quote your Snowjet booking reference. The only person who can change a booking is the card holder who booked the original flights.
Mistakes: At Snowjet we understand that mistakes can happen when making a booking and we will be happy to arrange for the correction of spelling and obvious input errors free of charge providing we are notified within 24 hours of the flight booking having been made. On receipt of your e-ticket please check all the details carefully as changes made at a later date may incur charges.
Name Changes: Name changes are charged at £50 per name per one way flight. If a return flight has been booked then the name has to be changed on both sectors.
Flight Change: You can change your flight up to 4 hours before departure, subject to availability, for fee of £35 per person per one way flight. The fee is applicable to time changes, date changes and route changes. All passengers on the booking must change to the new flights. If the new flight is more expensive than the original you will you will have to pay the difference however if the new flight costs less no refund will be offered. You can make a late change, within 4 hours of departure, for a flat fee of £50 per person per one way flight by contacting one of our airport representatives.
Cancellation: We are unable to offer a refund should you cancel your booking. We therefore strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover this eventuality. If you advise us in advance of the cancellation you may be able to claim a refund of certain taxes and charges. However all claims are subject to an administration fee of £10 per sector and must be made in writing within 30 days of cancellation.

Avalanche rescue backpacks:
Avalanche packs are permitted, as either hand or hold baggage, on Snowjet flights by prior arrangement ONLY. If you intend to travel with such an item you must contact us to obtain written approval as soon as possible, and not less than 7 days prior to departure. You will be asked to present this document at check-in. For the duration of your flight you must ensure that your backpack is packed in such a manner that is cannot be accidently activated.
How can I add hold baggage to my booking?
For convenience add baggage to your flight reservation at the time of booking. If, at a later date, you decide you would like to add additional baggage please contact us no later than 48 hours prior to your departure. Passengers who present any item of hold baggage at the airport that has not been pre-booked will be charged double the relevant pre-booking fee.
What do I do if my bag is damaged, delayed or lost?
In the unlikely event that your bag is damaged in transit or fails to arrive on your flight, you should contact the local handling agent and complete a P.I.R. (Property Irregularity Report) before leaving the airport. Ensure that you retain a copy of this form as you will need it in the event of an insurance claim.
Delayed or lost baggage
The majority of mislaid baggage is located within 48 hours and we would like to assure you that every effort is being made to trace your luggage. Titan Airways subscribe to the Worldtracer Network System, designed exclusively for this purpose. Our handling agents will advise you when your baggage has been found and it will be sent to your resort/UK home address as appropriate.
Damaged baggage
Baggage is designed to protect the contents. Scratches, nicks, or dirt may appear despite care in handling. Neither Snowjet nor Titan Airways accepts liability for normal wear and tear to baggage, which includes: damage to or loss of protruding baggage parts such as straps, pockets, pull handles, hanger hooks, wheels and feet, or other items attached to the baggage as well as damage to oversized/overpacked bags.
If your bag has been damaged please check the contents carefully and ensure that any missing or damaged articles are reported to the Handling Agent and the details noted on your PIR.
Limits of liability
Titan Airways is not liable for damage to fragile items, sports equipment, musical instruments, spoilage of perishables, loss/damage/delay to money, jewellery, cameras, electronic/video/photographic equipment, computer equipment, heirlooms, antiques, artwork, silverware, precious metals, negotiable papers/securities, commercial effects, valuable papers, car and house keys, cigarettes and tobacco, necessary medication or other irreplaceable items as none of these should be placed in checked luggage.
Claims
If your baggage has been lost or damaged we want you to get full compensation for the event. Airline liability is governed by International Convention which imposes a very limited liability on carriers such as Titan Airways and your insurance policies will almost certainly offer a higher level of cover. Therefore at the earliest opportunity notify your travel insurance company or Household All-Risks cover.
Please advise your insurance Company that any correspondence in connection with your claim should be addressed directly to the following:

What documentation do I need to travel?
Tickets: Snowjet do not issue paper tickets. On completion of the booking process a confirmation page will be automatically generated and a copy sent to your e-mail address. This serves as your e-ticket. We advise you to print the e-ticket and to take it with you to the airport to facilitate check in. It's also a good idea to also retain the electronic version as backup.

Visas: Non EU citizens will be required to present the relevant visas. It is your responsibility to comply with the requirements of any country you wish to visit.
When & where should I check in?

Seats are allocated at check-in on a first come first served basis on all Snowjet flights. Our airport representatives may be able to assist with special requirements.
Infants, Children and Expectant Mothers on Snowjet Flights
What are Snowjet's policies regarding new born babies, infants and children?
The minimum age for an infant to fly with Snowjet is 14 days.
Infants (children under the age of 2 on the date of departure) may travel on Snowjet flights for a small admin fee of £10 each way, provided that they sit on the lap of an adult, responsible for that infant's welfare, for the duration of the flight. If you wish, you may purchase a seat (at the adult rate) for your infant, however he or she must be seated on an adult's lap during takeoff, landing and whenever the fasten seatbelt sign is illuminated. Therefore, whether or not additional seats are purchased, 2 infants must travel with at least 2 adults, 3 infants with 3 adults and so on.
Snowjet flights for children over 2 years of age are charged at the same rate as for adults. For safety reasons over 2s must occupy their own seat during takeoff, landing and whenever the fasten seatbelt sign is illuminated.
Can unaccompanied minors travel on Snowjet flights?
Unaccompanied minors (under the age of 14 years old) are not eligible to travel on Snowjet flights.
Expectant mothers may travel up to the end of their 28th week of pregnancy. Travel after this and up to the end of the 35th week is permitted providing the passenger has a doctor's letter confirming the expected date of delivery and the health of the mother.
Snowjet Passengers with Special Requirements
What do I do if I injure myself before my Snowjet flight?
If you sustain any kind of injury during your holiday, contact your travel insurance provider to see what provision they will make for your return travel.
Passengers travelling with casts fitted less than 48 hours prior to travel will not be allowed to fly unless the cast is split. The split should run the full length of the cast and the requirement applies to both plaster casts and resin casts. Casts fitted more than 48 hours prior to travel do not need to be split.
Passengers travelling with a full leg cast or with other injuries that prevent them from bending their leg will require 3 seats per flight. Extra seats must be purchased, from Snowjet. Your insurance company will usually book these on your behalf.
Extra seats are not a requirement for passengers travelling with a lower leg in a cast or for passengers travelling with an upper limb in a cast.
**In all cases passengers will be required to present a 'fitness to fly' certificate at check-in.**
If you require assistance at the airport a Snowjet airport representative will be happy to help.
Can I bring medication onboard?
Hypodermic needles, insulin pens, epipens and other essential medications are permitted as hand baggage provided you carry a doctor's letter confirming your need for them. We strongly recommend that such items are packed in hand luggage, even if you do not expect to need them during your flight, so that they available if required unexpectedly.
If you need an injection during the flight it must be self-administered.
Can I travel if I am / or have been unwell?
There are certain conditions that need to be met for passengers wishing to fly who have contagious illnesses. In the following cases the passenger concerned should obtain a letter from a doctor confirming they meet the conditions and are therefore illegible to fly.
Chicken pox: Passengers will be allowed to fly provided at least 7 days have passed since the appearance of the last new spot.
Measles: Passengers will be allowed to fly provided at least 7 days have passed since the appearance of the rash.
Mumps: Passengers will be allowed to fly provided all swelling has subsided. This usually occurs after 7 days however it can take up to 14 days.
